What is BYOB?

BYOB is snap's predecessor. It is a downloadable program that has the capability to compile projects into .EXE files, making them playable without opening scratch. They will still have scratch components such as the Green Flag, the Red Octogon and a Pause Button.

Where are .EXE files stored?

The compiled .EXE files are stored in C:\Libraries\Documents (or C:\Documents) while the .sb1 files are stored wherever the user saved them when compiling the project.
